Anna, derived from the name Inanna, connects her to the powerful archetype of a healing temple goddess, Innana. Inanna is not only a symbol of healing but also holds the important title of the patron of sex workers, embodying a complex and multifaceted essence. The resonance with Inanna reflects a deep connection to the spiritual and nurturing aspects of her identity.
On the other hand, the surname Morrigan is rooted in the Celtic Triple Goddess, serving as a tribute to Anna's Celtic heritage and her profound appreciation for the trinity of feminine energies. The Morrigan is a force to be reckoned with—a potent symbol of power that echoes in her life. Her presence serves as a reminder of her ability to manifest, but it comes with a cautionary note. Embarking on her professional journey at the age of 17, she entered a world where sex work was not only illegal but lacked the consciousness it now embraces.
The onset of the HIV epidemic forced a pivotal change, making full-service sex engagements unfeasible. In response, Anna diversified, offering alternative services to her clients, and it was through this evolution that she discovered a genuine skill for providing sensual healing experiences. This marked the beginning of a transformative journey.
Over the years, Anna ventured to Crete, where she wandered amidst the remnants of ancient temples, feeling the potent energy that once thrived there. These travels expanded into a spiritual exploration, tracing the path of Mary Magdalene and other healing goddesses.
Through these experiences, Anna came to believe that her original industry carried the key to reintroducing sacredness to the mainstream.
